During the course

ORGANIZATION and DESCRIPTION of COURSES

PLACEMENT TEST
For a very remarkable result in ones studies and career, trainees would first undergo a placement test of which we in HI-TECH TRAINING CENTER follow the international standard. A placement test is to assess each student the level of knowledge they have in the English Language.
Each student would then be taught with the focus of attention given to their degree or level. This is done to ensure that each and every student will be taught correctly and be given the support and materials they need to be able to learn the English language more efficiently.

NUMBER OF HOURS
Course starts at 7:45 A.M. and ends at 1:30 P.M. with a 10 minute break after every hour of the lessons. Regular days of classes are from Sunday till Thursday. Students are given the feeling of a friendly atmosphere to take the course smoothly without the feeling of tension.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE
The course would mainly deal with the four basic elements of the English Language - Listening-Speaking- Reading-Writing.
The aims of the course are to encourage students especially non-English speakers to analyze the systems of the language in use to expose them to a variety of challenging and interesting text-types in the listening and reading activities and to stimulate them to give their own opinions and participate in class discussions.

PRESENTATION
As earlier mentioned the purpose would be the perfection and fluency of the basic English Language elements-Listening- Speaking- Reading-Writing. Moreover, the grammar exercise is emphasized to consolidate the target language. The students are guided to an understanding of the target language, and invited to work rules out for themselves.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT
Language is used for real or realistic purposes. The target language is being broadened or appears to be more beneficial to the students in their respective career or job site.

VISUAL AIDS AND MATERIALS
A course book for students as well as some related activities would be provided and a computerized English language course would also be presented all throughout the course. Related visual aids and reference books would also be used from time to time.

EXPECTATION RESULTS
The lower the language level, the harder it is to have a genuine fluency-based activity, because students simply do not know enough language, either receptively or productively. Most unadapted authentic reading texts are probably beyond their ability, and using materials that are too difficult can leave students frustrated at what they don't know rather than confident with what they do know.

In the teaching process, there are fluency- based activities for Reading-Speaking-Listening and Writing. At the end or in the short run students are expected to speak, read, listen and write and gain the knowledge of the English Language with a remarkable outcome!
